This vented unit is designed to turn your wood burning fireplace into an efficient and warm gas log set that should be used in an approved masonry or approved vented firebox enclosure. The high quality stainless steel construction allows these burners to be used outdoors in addition to traditional indoor use. This unit requires manual on/off ignition; if a safety pilot is added later, the pilot light must be match lit and will run continuously to provide ignition to the unit.
